How much do car transport companies charge?
Auto transport company prices are based on current market trends for nationwide auto transport. Your total cost from auto shipping companies will depend on the type of car you want to move, where it needs to go, its size, condition (or if it has any modifications), total transport distance, transport type (open or enclosed trailer shipment), and finally, the time of year when you book.
Size and weight of vehicle
Longer, taller or heavier-than-average vehicles require special accommodations by car transport companies and, as a result, the price may vary.
The car condition
Shipping inoperable vehicles costs more because it requires extra tools and labor for car shipping companies to accommodate the cargo. But if your car rolls, steers, and brakes, we can ship it.
The transport type
Open transport is standard and more affordable option. Enclosed transport requires specific handling, so the price might be different.
The shipping distance
Longer runs have a higher overall price but lower cost per mile. The further your vehicle travels, the more you save on an auto transporter

Frequently Ask Question
No, the quote is all inclusive. It covers door to door service, full bumper to bumper insurance, all tax and tolls paid, and personal belongings up to 100 lbs free of charge.
The main factor affecting pick-up time is location. If your vehicle has to be picked up from a big metropolitan area, your auto will usually be picked up on the exact date you need it to be picked up. Keep in mind that sometimes delays might occur due to weather, traffic, and road conditions. If your vehicle has to be picked up from a more rural area, it might take 2 or more days to be picked up.
You can put personal items up to 100 lbs. in a box or single piece of luggage that will be in the trunk of the car during transport.
Yes, we provide full bumper to bumper insurance which means that your vehicle is insured for at least $100,000 damage of any kind for open trailer transport, and $250,000 for enclosed trailer. That includes tiny little scratch, total damage, theft, fire. Your vehicle is fully insured as long as it’s on our trailer, but your personal belongings inside your vehicle will not be insured.
Before Your Vehicle Pickup Day:
Prepare Your Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is ready for transport by conducting a quick checkup. Important tasks include gathering all necessary keys (including those for the gas cap and trunk, if applicable), informing the carrier of any aftermarket modifications, maintaining the gas tank at ¼ to ½ full, checking tire pressure, ensuring the driver’s door and window function properly, verifying that the brakes are in working order, charging the battery, and making sure there are no leaks.
Clear Out Personal Items: All personal belongings should be removed from your vehicle’s interior, as the carrier is not allowed to transport personal effects.
Remove Exterior Accessories and Aftermarket Parts: To prevent damage during transport, disconnect or remove any exterior and interior accessories such as non-retractable antennas, dash-mounted gadgets, and exterior racks (luggage, ski, bike). Also, remember to take out your garage door opener, music collection, and toll transponder (e.g., EZ Pass).
On Pickup Day:
Verify Delivery Contact Information: When the carrier arrives, review the necessary paperwork, confirm the delivery address, and provide the contact details for the person who will receive the vehicle at its destination. It’s wise to provide more than one contact number.
Document Vehicle Condition: Walk around the vehicle with the carrier to document its current condition, noting any pre-existing damage. It’s advisable to take photos or video as an additional record. Don’t forget to ask for a copy of the Bill of Lading from the driver.
Relax and Let the Professionals Handle It: Your vehicle is now in the care of experienced professionals who will ensure it is transported safely and efficiently.
On Delivery Day:
Conduct a Thorough Inspection: Upon delivery, carefully inspect your vehicle. Compare its current condition with the photos or video taken on pickup day. Review the Bill of Lading to ensure everything is in order. If there’s any damage, make sure it’s noted on the Bill of Lading.
Sign and Finalize the Delivery: Once you are satisfied with the condition of your vehicle, sign the Bill of Lading and pay any remaining balance to complete the delivery process. Enjoy your vehicle!
